This one means a lot to me. Everything I’ve been doing in business feeds into making me a better human being, connect with others at a deeper level and actually, help & support others in fulfilling their own trajectory and dreams.
I immigrated from France to Canada in 2000—you can read a bit of my story in my profile - I was from a privileged background but I have nonetheless been a victim of discrimination and racism. So I was excited when I was asked to help out with La Passerelle-I.D.É program. With this program, #Canada and #France are sponsoring a group of French youth from low-income backgrounds to travel to Toronto and learn more about #entrepreneurship. I’m honoured to be meeting them as part of their tour!
This program speaks to me because in many ways, these young people and I share lots in common. I know where they’re at. They need hope! And I am so humbled to be able to show them how hard work, dedication and a refusal to give up could help shape their futures in the business world.
